African Culture In A Foreign Land

The President of Malawi Her Excellency Joyce Banda was seen kneeling with both legs while greeting fellow head of state during a government function because they are Men, and her tradition ‘the Malawian tradition’ commands her to do so.

What do you think about this?
Old fashioned or applausible..
Do you think such tradition should have been limited to Malawi or say Africa in general. Maybe it shouldn't have been taken to a foreign land.
Need your sincere feedbacks.
