Nigeria Set To Host Legendary Football Star ‘PELE'

He was born on October 23, 1940 (age 75) in Três Corações, Brazil. He is named Pelé A.k.a "Pérola Negra", "O Rei", "Black Pearl", "The King".

His original names are Edison Arantes do Nascimento. He is a member of three Brazilian World Cup-champion teams, he is considered by many to be the greatest soccer player of all time. He won three World Cups along the way, before joining the New York Cosmos late in his career. Named FIFA co-Player of the Century in 1999, he is a global ambassador for soccer and other humanitarian causes.

On the 11th and 12th of next month (August), the icon will be welcomed in Lagos, Nigeria as part of the activities to motivate young players in the world of soccer and encourage them to pursue their career with passion knowing fully well that anything is achievable.

The last time the soccer star visited the country was in 1967.
Looking forward to having Ronaldo or Messi in the country.
Who else is with me on that?
